In 2001, Nanchang Xiangyi Medical Device Co., Ltd. was officially registered and established. In 2003, the company acquired 30 mu of land in the Lidu North Industrial Zone of Nanchang and commenced construction. In 2004, the first phase of the new factory premises was completed and successfully put into operation. In 2005, construction began on the second-phase project, including a 100,000-level cleanroom for mask production. In 2006, the company introduced one fully automated bedsheet‑lining production line and twelve fully automated mask production lines. In 2007, construction started on the third-phase project, which included a 3,000-square-meter cleanroom. In 2008, the company installed an automated cap‑making production line. In 2009, eight fully automated gauze‑folding machine production lines were built. In February 2010, the company was elected as an executive council member of the Jiangxi Provincial Medical Device Industry Association. In October 2010, the company obtained CE certification. In December 2010, the company passed the national inspection for sterile medical device manufacturing standards (GMP). In 2011, the company was awarded the title of “Outstanding Enterprise” by the Jiangxi Provincial Medical Device Industry Association. In 2012, the fourth-phase project—a 12,000-square-meter production workshop—was completed and passed acceptance testing. In 2013, an additional 5,200-square-meter cleanroom was added and successfully put into operation.
